The curriculum Genetics and Molecular Biology of Development focus on the study of normal and pathological development, natural (and, in perspective, artificial) organogenesis, of pathological modifications of differentiation; on the study of mono- and multi-genic human diseases. These studies will be performed eventually using model organisms, like mouse, zebrafish or drosophila. An additional topic is the study of the genetic, physiological and molecular bases of circadian clocks in the model organism drosophila melanogaster.
